What Is Idaho Gives? ~ Idaho Gives is a program of the Idaho Nonprofit Center – is designed to bring the state together, raising money and awareness for Idaho nonprofits. Idaho Gives, occurring on May 3, 2018, is a 24-hour online fundraising event established to celebrate the commitment of local nonprofits to make Idaho a better place to live, work, play, and serve. It unites charities and donors in a fun and engaging initiative to support animal welfare, arts and culture, education, the environment, health and human services, youth, volunteerism, and more. Idaho Gives will raise money and awareness for so many important local causes. Contest prizes will be offered all day long to participating nonprofits as incentives for their donors to give generously from 12AM MST to 11:59PM PST.

How Does It Work? ~ Visit IdahoGives.org, choose a charity, (may we suggest SNAKE RIVER ANIMAL SHELTER) and donate. It’s simple! All donations collected are deposited electronically directly into each nonprofit’s bank account within 24-48 hours. A small percent of the donations brought in may be deducted to cover processing and administrative fees, although all you have the opportunity to cover those costs so that the charity realizes the full donation. There is nothing to lose!

Your donation will make a huge difference in the life of an animal who is has been neglected or homeless. An animal like Darla, a sweet, female, Chihuahua puppy who was brought to SRAS because she was the last of the litter that couldn't be placed. Darla is one of hundreds of unwanted puppies that gets brought to SRAS each year. Your donation is helping us re-home sweet animals like little Darla, who was adopted by a kind, older, woman needing companionship.
Thank you,
from all of the animals and Staff at SRAS!
